September has just ended and fall is in its full bloom. Art fairs around the globe are going strong. This week Frieze London has just begun and the excitement is at its peak. With shows by top American artists like Jeff Koons and Richard Serra this year Frieze London art fair seems to be as promising as ever.

If you are in London this week we highly recommend you take some time off to visit some of the best stops are Frieze London. “P.P.O.W.”s booth is truly inspiring, hosting “Pink Project” a piece by American artist Portia Munson. For this installation Portia collected things such as toys, accessories, and other things that are the color pink. A piece that reflects on how this color has been imposed on girls by capitalist culture and thus has formed part of what is considered to be feminine.

Anish Kapoor is also showing at Frieze London with Lisson Gallery. “Stave (Red)” a 12-foot tall reflective sculpture. This is a magnificent piece is definitely worth seeing. Lisson Gallery in Milan hosted earlier this year an exhibition by Kapoor, presenting a series of 14 stainless steel sculptures.

Mexican multidisciplinary artist, Gabriel Orozco, is showing his latest architectural work at the South London Gallery. He collaborated with UK based architects, 6a, to create a new permanent garden space for the gallery. The garden is formed by a series of concentric circles, which guide the user through the space in a fluid manner.
